You will be responsible for:

  • creating and maintaining data standards, policies and architectures;
  • handling the creation and maintenance of Logical and Physical Data Model diagrams;
  • assisting in development and maintenance of standards for naming, describing, governing, managing, modeling, storing, cleansing and transforming all data within WKCDA, which also includes methodologies, tools, governance frameworks and design patterns;
  • participating in requirement gathering, focusing on understanding and documenting the business processes and data requirements of those processes;
  • handling the construction of database and database objects; and
  • understanding and managing the data access methods deployed by WKCDA and ensuring their consistent and effective use.

 

You should:

  • possess a recognised university degree in computer science, information systems or equivalent;
  • have of experience in Data Architect role or relevant discipline;
  • have strong skills from proposing data strategy and practice to implementing solution;
  • possess the competency and knowledge of database, data warehouse, business intelligence, metadata and data security concepts; and practical application to providing cost effective business solutions;
  • have strong knowledge in enterprise application and data integration solutions and best practice on different integration approach;
  • have experience in building data warehouse with design pattern and best practice;
  • have experience in data analyst methodology and discovering business insight using collected data
  • including building data models;
  • have hands on experience in using both on-premise and cloud-based data integration tools (e.g. Informatica Cloud, Informatica Data Integration Hub), application integration tools (e.g. CA Layer 7, AWS API Gateway), BI and data visualization tools (e.g. PowerBI, Tableau, Qlikview), and database tools (e.g. SQL Server, Oracle);
  • have hands on experience in scripting languages (e.g. PowerShell, Bash, Windows batch, Python); experience in using cloud data lake solution and technology is an advantage; and
  • be proficient in written and spoken English and Chinese.
