Assistant Manager, Digital Communications (Ref:19332)

Kowloon (Tsim Sha Tsui)

You will be responsible for:

  • managing and executing digital marketing campaigns on digital platforms (SEM, GDN etc.) in promoting the district, its venues and events; be responsible in measuring and enhancing its effectiveness and conversions through analytics / tracking tools including Google Analytics, Datorama or other BI tools, with knowledge on tagging;
  • liaising and coordinating with various external agencies and internal parties on campaign planning and execution, as well as content production
  • working with the Digital Team and be a key member on the development of district-wide mobile app, wayfinding platform and other digital initiatives;
  • managing and optimising the content creation and management of mobile apps and other digital initiatives and performance tracking, working along with the digital content officer and copywriter;
  • monitoring and updating content for social media and digital platforms (e.g. Google My Business, YouTube) with the digital officer and prepare reports and analysis through social listening tools;
  • working with the Digital team to develop a mini-program on WeChat and optimise the marketing and engagement on WeChat
  • working along with the CRM team to handle email marketing, mobile and location marketing and analytics to our subscribers/customers; and identifying ways to grow the subscriber list, identify segments and proposed personalised content;
  • assisting to develop and execute integrated omni-channel customer experience strategies and plans, ranging from online interaction to on-site engagement, with the use of CRM, mobile app, portal, digital marketing, social etc.;
  • leveraging the district-wide Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system to understand customer’s behaviour, enhancing the digital communications on different channels with personalised content;
  • working with the digital team on preparing or editing multimedia contents, including digital banner and video clips, in accordance with the marketing strategies;
  • providing administrative support to the team; and
  • performing any other duties as assigned by the Authority.


You should:

  • possess a recognised university degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Information System Management or equivalent;
  • have at least 5 years hands-on experience in SEM/SEO, Google Analytics, email marketing, social media, Content Management System and CRM, in a fast-paced environment;
  • have experience in event tracking / tagging, segmentation / targeting marketing and delivering personalised content on digital channels; experience in mobile app development is a plus;
  • be familiar with Photoshop, Illustrator and other video editing software, and have basic HTML/JavaScript knowledge; and
  • be proficient in written and spoken English and Chinese.
