Manager, Finance (Financial Planning and Analysis) (Ref:19331)

 You will be responsible for:

  • supporting the Head, Financial Planning and Analysis in the planning, budgeting and forecasting process to ensure the overall financial sustainability of all the WKCDA projects;
  • preparing and maintaining robust financial modelling and cash flow projection mechanism for WKCDA’s long term financial projection;
  • providing support on financial forecasts, business and corporate plans, control and analysis to ensure the business activities are conducted in accordance with guidelines and with good governance;
  • implementing performance scorecards and KPI measures to monitor and track business results against budgets/plans, and supporting corresponding timely updates to WKCDA’s long term financial projection;
  • preparing regular management reports and analysis by venue, by business unit, by division, by function to highlight areas of risks and opportunities for management review;
  • assisting in the periodic business reviews to ensure that business initiatives are aligned to set objectives while operating and capital project costs are within the approved budget parameters and control guidelines;
  • supporting the development of appropriate systems for the above reporting requirements and processes; and
  • providing support on the administration of Board/Committees and performing ad hoc duties when required.


You should:

  • possess a recognised university degree with professional qualifications in Finance, Accounting or relevant discipline;
  • have a membership of the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants or equivalent;
  • have at least 10 years of experience in finance, accounting or auditing, preferably gained in a large organisation;
  • have a good understanding and be familiar with the public sector in Hong Kong will be a plus;
  • have good knowledge in ERP systems, financial modelling, business controls and management reporting;
  • have detail-minded with strong analytical skills and critical thinking mindset;
  • have the ability to engage and communicate with multiple stakeholders;
  • have excellent Excel and Powerpoint skills; and
  • be proficient in written and spoken English and Chinese.
