You will be responsible for:

  • preparing documentation for board and committee meetings of Hong Kong Palace Museum (HKPM) including agenda, meeting papers, chairman’s brief, reports, and minutes and leading the logistical arrangement and related secretariat duties independently;
  • providing advice at board and committee meetings on meeting logistics and governance compliances issues;
  • preparing reports, discussion papers and related materials for presentation to the authority’s governing and advisory bodies;
  • providing support to the management team on staffing requirements;
  • assisting in handling internal and external correspondence;
  • supporting special projects as required; and
  • performing any ad hoc administrative tasks as assigned by the supervisor.

 

You should:

  • possess a recognised university degree or equivalent, preferably in language, business administration, secretarial studies or other related discipline;
  • Associate member of ICSA / HKICS is preferred;
  • have at least 6 years of relevant experience working for boards and committees, preferably in sizable organisations;
  • be a good and mature team player;
  • be highly-organised, detailed-oriented and flexible with strong coordination, problem solving and negotiation skills;
  • be able to work independently and cooperatively with colleagues at all levels and in different disciplines;
  • be proficient in MS Office including Word, Excel and PowerPoint; and
  • be proficient in oral and written communication skills in English and Chinese, and preferably Putonghua.
