Manager, IT Service Delivery (Ref:19301)

Hong Kong Island (Cyberport Office)

You will be responsible for:

  • developing and maintaining Information Technology Service Management (ITSM) practices and managing related consultancies and IT projects for the WKCDA;
  • planning and executing processes in service lifecycle and compliance review;
  • following up with team members / users on non-compliance issues and coordinating plans for remediation/ mitigation of risks and exposure;
  • advising on the risks of daily IT operations and projects within the context of process compliance;
  • preparing tender for the provision of IT operation services;
  • promoting and raising awareness of IT service management;
  • managing vendors for providing the Service Desk and deskside support services; and
  • refining and implementing IT strategies, policies and procedures.


You should:

  • possess a recognised university degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent;
  • preferably have professional qualifications, e.g. MCSE, Network certification, etc.;
  • have at least 10 years of experience in information technology roles with progressive management and technical responsibilities, of which 5 years in IT operation role; experience in managing the outsourcing IT helpdesk support services is an advantage;
  • have a proven track records on implementation of outsourcing operations for sizable IT infrastructure and practical experience on vendor management with effective negotiation skills;
  • have experience in managing IT infrastructure technologies (virtualization, storage, network and DR etc.);
  • preferably have experience in the design and implementation of ITIL and IT system & network management projects;
  • be proficient in MS Windows products such as Exchange, MS Office, MS Windows Server, MS SQL Server and Apple products; knowledge in ServiceNow is an advantage;
  • possess strong analytical, interpersonal and communication skills, and good management/leadership skills; and
  • be proficient in written and spoken English and Chinese.
