Senior Manager, Insurance (Ref:19296)

Kowloon (Tsim Sha Tsui)

You will report to the General Counsel and be responsible for:

  • managing and overseeing the Authority’s various insurance programmes (including Operational, Projects, Public Liability, Property All Risks, Fine Art Insurance Programmes etc);
  • administrating brokers, tendering, evaluation and assessment, renewal, claims handling and effective management of business risks for the Authority;
  • serving as an in-house insurance adviser to all divisions and departments, providing clarifications of insurance coverages, administering risk control and analysis, and providing professional technical support as required;
  • liaising with internal and external stakeholders on the planning and implementation of the overall insurance strategy; and
  • delivering measures in response to the audit findings for good corporate governance and staff compliance purposes in a logical, analytical and systematic manner.


You should:

  • possess a recognised university degree or equivalent;
  • preferably have a relevant professional qualification in Insurance or related disciplines;
  • have around 12 years of experience in insurance and tracked records in managing multi-discipline programmes for reputable organisations, of which 8 years should be at managerial level;
  • preferably have knowledge of museums in the context of arts and culture;
  • demonstrate excellent presentation and communication skills with a strong awareness on risk management; and
  • be proficient in written and spoken English and Chinese.
