As one of the largest arts and cultural districts in the world, West Kowloon will be showcasing a wide range of exciting arts and cultural activities and other services to the public and audiences from around the world, including art exhibitions, performances, festivals, workshops, seminars, covering different types of art form and genres. In the 40-hectare district, apart from major cultural venues including Xiqu Centre and M+, there is also the Art Park with large green public space where visitors can cycle, picnic, check-in or take pictures, dine, enjoy sea views or do other leisure activities. In order to support on the types and amount of digital assets for engaging different audiences through photography/videography, West Kowloon is looking at talents to help us produce attractive and relevant content primarily in the form of photography and video, for our digital channels including mobile apps, e-newsletter, social media etc.

You will be responsible for:

  • producing high quality content (photography, video, copy) for the Authority’s digital presence;
  • developing content plans to ensure an excellent online user journey through the creation of copy, and use of video and photography;
  • coordinating small-scale digital content projects, liaising with stakeholders to gather requirements and understand needs;
  • working closely with the digital marketing team, CRM team, campaign team and copywriter to ensure quality output;
  • managing the West Kowloon District app and using the app Content Management System to edit and create content, and work with the digital team to help develop and refine the app content/pages;
  • evaluating the use of content and digital channels using data and performance analytics to drive and support decision-making on a regular basis through A/B testing or tools like Google Analytics or Google Optimise;
  • maintaining and managing the digital assets systematically using the Authority’s Digital Asset Management System; and
  • ensuring content adheres to appropriate policy and guidelines, and repurposing content for different audiences and channels.


You should:

  • possess a recognised university degree or equivalent;
  • have at least 2-3 years of relevant experience in digital content creation (including photography, videography or marketing copy) in media, lifestyle industry, arts and culture, online blog/websites, or organisations of similar nature and scale;
  • have knowledge and experience in using relevant software such as Photoshop, Final Cut/Adobe Premiere and Content Management System, etc.;
  • have experience on content publishing for digital channels including social media, mobile apps, website and enewsletter;
  • preferably have knowledge and experience on CRM or analytics such as Google Analytics or other optimization tools; and
  • be passionate and stay abreast with the latest trends on content marketing, digital technology.
