Duration: 11 months

You will be responsible for:

  • managing a wide range of research work on Chinese cultural relics, artefacts of the Palace Museum for preparing the curatorial presentation for the Hong Kong Palace Museum (HKPM);
  • providing editorial support, translation, transcript and proof-reading, arranging meetings and jotting meeting notes of necessary information in relation to the research project;
  • supporting the team in designing, planning, preparing and organising a series of public engagement programmes, exhibition and activities related to the promotion of the HKPM to build a sustainable audience base before opening;
  • assisting the team in building and maintaining relationship with different groups of audience/community; and
  • performing other duties as assigned by supervisors when deemed necessary.


You should:

  • possess a recognised university degree or above, preferably in History, Chinese History, Fine Arts, Art Education, Cultural Studies or equivalent;
  • have at least 1 year of working experience in art or history research project management and coordination, preferably in museums, universities or art institutions;
  • possess strong research skills, interest and curiosity for Chinese Antiquities and Artefacts;
  • proficiency in using PC, Chinese characters input, online social platform, proof-reading and editing; and
  • be self-motivated and able to work independently, highly-organised, detail-oriented, patient and with good communication skills.
