Head, Hong Kong Palace Museum Security (Ref:19255)

You will be responsible for:

  • planning and developing the security policies and programmes for the Hong Kong Palace Museum, and implementing of museum safety measures and emergency preparedness programmes, etc.;
  • developing the security operations including installation of security systems such as access card systems, guard tour equipment, intruder / fire alarm systems, and CCTV systems;
  • managing staff and operations of the security team to provide protection and security services for all events, exhibits, collections, staff, and visitors;
  • liaising with the WKCDA District Security and Safety Department, and ensuring that all incidents are handled in accordance with District polices; and
  • developing and implementing staff training programmes and coordinating internal and law enforcement agency investigations.

 

You should:

  • possess a recognised university degree or equivalent;
  • have at least 15 years of relevant experience in a security management role, of which 5 years are post-qualification experience at management level in a large organisation;
  • have strong leadership experience in managing security functions with expertise in security operations, risk management and crisis management;
  • possess in-depth knowledge of relevant legislation in the field of security;
  • be able to engage and communicate with multiple stakeholders and different working levels of personnel; and
  • be proficient in written and spoken English and Chinese, preferably proficient in Putonghua.
