Administration Officer (Ref:19244)

Kowloon (Tsim Sha Tsui)

You will be responsible for:

  • performing administrative and secretariat support to General Manager, Communications and Public Affairs ensuring work efficiency of the department;
  • planning and arrangement of office resources and daily office administration for the Communications and Public Affairs Department, including workspace, equipment, office necessities, office general storage, daily office logistics etc;
  • managing financial matters of the department and handle departmental expenses budgeting and control, and payment administration; liaise with Finance department on records and reporting; support General Manager on budget exercise;
  • organising and liaising meeting schedules; maintaining documentation records and filing systems;
  • providing clerical and liaison support on departmental procurement exercises; and
  • performing other departmental duties and projects as assigned.


You should:

  • possess a recognised university degree in business administration or equivalent;
  • have at least 5 years of administrative and/ or secretarial experience, preferably in sizeable organisations;
  • possess good understanding and experience in office administration, corporate policies and procedure, and operational workflows; experience and knowledge of accounting and procurement exercises would be an advantage;
  • have demonstrate good organising, planning and problem solving skills;
  • have excellent interpersonal and communications skills;
  • be proactive and able to manage multi-tasks in a tight timeline and work under pressure;
  • be able to work independently to deliver quality and timely support;
  • be proficient in computer applications and other office IT systems; and
  • be proficient in written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin).
