Project Manager (Ref:19209)

Kowloon (WKCDA Project Site Office)

You will be responsible for:

  • reporting to the General Manager, Project Management in managing and monitoring of the design and related project management activities of the project;
  • assisting in all aspects of the design / project management process from strategy formulation, development, project cost control and procurement to delivery;
  • assisting in managing and overseeing outsourced consultancies including design, project management, quantity surveying, engineering and other specialist consultants / sub-consultants;
  • assisting in monitoring the work progress and performance of consultants and sub-consultants;
  • monitoring and reviewing the technical design and specification of mega infra-structure, engineering and building projects as well as the sustainability and facility management implications on the design and construction;
  • monitoring, reviewing and reporting on the production of design deliverables, including BIM; and
  • assisting in preparing design / feasibility studies / status reports and the like.


You should:

  • possess a recognised university degree in Architecture, Civil or Structural Engineering, Building Services Engineering, Project Management, or equivalent;

  • possess a professional membership of a directly relevant institution;

  • have at least 5 years of directly relevant post-qualification experience in managing building and / or infrastructure projects;

  • be conversant with building contracts and familiar with Hong Kong Statutory Building related legislations;

  • have experience in mid-large to large scale consultant and / or contractor organisations;

  • have design management experience;

  • have project management skills / experience (PMBOK preferred);

  • have multi-disciplinary interface knowledge and be able and willing to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to achieve compliance and quality in all applicable aspects of project management;

  • preferably possess experience in institutional or art and cultural projects gained locally or overseas;

  • be a collaborator; and

  • be proficient and confident in written and spoken business English and Chinese.
