Senior Project Manager (Ref:19158)

(Candidates with less experience may be considered for the post of Project Manager)


You will be responsible for:

  • reporting to the General Manager, Construction Projects in managing and monitoring the construction of the project;
  • overseeing all aspects of construction project management system from strategy formulation, development, project cost control, programme and procurement to delivery;
  • managing and overseeing the construction of the project and performance of all Works Contracts, contractors and sub-contractors;
  • monitoring contractor’s progress and performance through creative compromise and cooperation minimising conflict and confrontation preventing disputes;
  • effectively managing and communicating with the Project Management Consultant in employing the Resident Site Staff team for the project; and
  • assisting in the prioritisation, monitoring and management of safety issues during construction.


You should:

  • possess a recognised university degree in Civil or Structural Engineering, Architecture or equivalent; 
  • possess a professional membership of relevant institution and with qualifications in Project Management is preferred;
  • have at least 10 years of post-qualification experience with proven track records in managing major infrastructure projects;
  • have in-depth knowledge of building contracts as well as Hong Kong statutory and building related legislations;
  • be well-versed in Project Management Information System (PMIS);
  • have extensive experience, technical expertise and construction knowledge in managing the time, cost and quality issues through construction process; and
  • be able to develop methodologies that promote cooperative and collaborative synergies with contractors and other stakeholders.
