Customer Service Manager, Venue Operations (Performing Arts) (Ref:19273)

You will be responsible for:

  • supporting Venue Manager to ensure the venue is operated smoothly and up to service quality standard during day to day operation;
  • performing as Duty Manager to be in-charge of day to day operation and emergency situation;
  • supporting show and event logistics planning and execution for Performing Arts related activities including indoor, outdoor and off-site events;
  • coordinating with internal teams, such as, artistic teams, technical & productions team, facilities management team and other working partners for event planning and execution;
  • managing and ensuring staffing efficiency of the casual labor pool; 
  • assisting in the preparation and enhancement of venue guidelines and customer experience strategy;
  • leading, managing and developing frontline team members;
  • focusing on the management of guest experience and handling of operation with frontline team members; and
  • handling projects and tasks as assigned by immediate supervisor.

You should:

  • possess a recognised university degree in hospitality, tourism, performing arts or equivalent;
  • have 5 years of relevant experience in venue operations with performing venues, tourism and / or hospitality sectors, of which at least 3 years in a supervisory position;
  • have good knowledge of front-of-house operation or event operation;
  • be service-oriented with professional customer service skills and positive service attitude;
  • be proficient in written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese and Putonghua),  preferably with knowledge of any other second language; and
  • be required to work on shift according to the duty roster assigned including weekends and public holidays.
