Senior Manager, Landscape Services and Operations (Ref:19167)

You will be responsible for:

  • overseeing the daily management and maintenance of landscape operations;
  • supporting district-wide landscape development and management;
  • providing input and evaluation for events held in the Park and public open space; advising and overseeing the implementation of precautionary and remedial measures;
  • providing technical support to the preparation of various submissions including concept and master landscape plans, landscape and urban design consultancy studies, and landscape proposals and design briefs etc.;
  • providing technical support to the major works contract management team;
  • providing technical advice and regular reporting to internal and external meetings / working groups / committees; and
  • interfacing with the government or other organisations in relation to the planning and development of areas within and outside WKCD.

 

You should:

  • possess a recognised university degree in Horticulture, Landscape Management and Planning, Landscape Architecture, Urban Design, Urban Planning or equivalent;
  • possess a membership of an appropriate professional institution or equivalent;
  • have at least 10 years of post-qualification experience in horticulture, landscape maintenance and operations, or equivalent;
  • have good knowledge and experience in horticulture, project management and urban design preferred; and
  • be proficient in written and spoken English and Chinese.
