Assistant Manager, Web Publish and Coordination (Ref:19135)

Kowloon (Tsim Sha Tsui)

You will be responsible for:

  • coordinating with internal departments to publish the web content within the timeline;
  • ensuring web content life cycling and quality checking / approval process is in place;
  • managing external content service vendor;
  • handling text editing, image and video editing and simple HTML formatting;
  • leading assistants for day to day web content;
  • articulating enhancement wish list and communicating to the product team for front end design and backend Web Content Management System enhancement;
  • working closely with the marketing and communications team as well as other user departments to collect user requirement and ensure the marketing objectives can be met;
  • applying new technology, media, interactive research and emerging standards related to internet marketing and digital media; and
  • supporting the operation and maintenance of the new applications and continuing to enhance based on customer feedback and comments.


You should:

  • possess a recognised university degree or equivalent in Journalism, Languages, Marketing, Project Management or related disciplines;
  • have at least 4 years of experience as an Editor, Publication Coordinator, Web Management Specialist or Project Management Specialist of which 1 year should be at supervisory level;
  • have experience in managing content workflow and publishing activities to ensure web standard is compiled and within timeline;
  • possess experience in HTML, editing, project management or content publishing activities;
  • possess experience in collaborating with producers, editors, designer and programmers;
  • be able to manage subordinates and production vendors and work independently with minimum supervision; and
  • be proficient in written and spoken English and Chinese.
