Customer Services Officer, Venue Operations (Performing Arts) (Ref:19025K)

Kowloon (Xiqu Centre)

You will be responsible for:

  • maintaining smooth operation of the performing arts venues, including undertaking crowd control during shows / events, and demonstrating excellent customer services;
  • supporting show and event admission by checking tickets, directing audience to their seats and carrying out venue regulations and house rules;
  • dealing with customers and handling other difficult or emergency cases encountered; and
  • operating cloakroom and service bar with cash handling skills when applicable.

You should:

  • possess higher diploma or above;
  • preferably have 1 year of relevant experience in venue operations in performing arts venues, tourism and / or hospitality sector (fresh graduates are welcome);
  • preferably have usher experience in an indoor entertainment venue of over 10,000 seating capacity in Hong Kong;
  • preferably have good knowledge of front-of-house operation or event operation;
  • have full-time availability and be able to work on shifts according to the roster determined by supervisor, including Monday to Sunday (public holidays if necessary); and
  • be proficient in written and spoken English and Chinese. Proficiency in other foreign languages is an advantage.



  • you are required to perform duties with a walkie-talkie indoor and outdoor;
  • you are required to go up and down steep staircases and sometimes under dark environment; and
  • you are required to stand or walk continuously for a long period of time.
