Assistant Manager, Facilities Management (Ref:18272)

You will be responsible for:

  • assisting in formulating, reviewing, refining management process and procedures for routine operations and improvement with main focuses on cost saving, management effectiveness, operation life cycle, safety and health best practice, energy efficiency and environmental friendliness etc.;
  • assisting in venue management of the events being organised in WKCD;
  • supervising the vendors for repairing and maintenance works of E&M, HVAC, Fire Services, BMS, P&D, ELV and Security System and all other facilities setup in WKCD and its venues and buildings;
  • monitoring the outsourced facilities management vendors to ensure quality services are delivered and as per annual management plan and planned preventive maintenance schedules;
  • planning and organising the due diligence for taking over new venues for documenting defect taking record and standard operation procedure; and
  • managing emergency incidents, resolving any incident in timely and effective manner, and recommending and driving continuous improvements.

 

You should:

  • possess a recognised university degree in facilities management, property management, building services, engineering, building study or equivalent;
  • preferably have a professional membership of relevant institution;
  • have at least 5 years of experience in facilities maintenance, property management, event management, building services, safety and security management and / or quality management, of which at least 2 years at supervisory level;
  • have a professional knowledge in Building Management Ordinance (BMO), Building Ordinance, Building Energy Code, Fire Safety Management and / or other related building operation guideline or best practice;
  • preferably be familiar with Building Management System (BMS), Safety Management System and / or other facilities management software; and
  • be proficient in written and spoken English and Chinese.
