Assistant Producer, Performing Arts (Music and Outdoor) (Ref:18221)

(Candidate with less experience may be considered for the post of Performing Arts Officer)


You are responsible for:

  • assisting in producing a diverse programme of music and outdoor work for cultural exchange, creation, and public programming / projects;
  • coordinating with the artists / arts groups regarding music and outdoor activities and production;
  • working collaboratively with performing arts teams and across departments for event and production logistics;
  • managing administrative duties of liaison and contractual work with service providers; consolidating meeting documents and presentation materials; and
  • assisting in managing budget, compiling evaluation reports and funding acquittals;


You should:

  • possess a recognised university degree in performing arts, arts or cultural studies, arts management, arts education or equivalent;
  • have 4-5 years of working experience, of which 3 years in arts and cultural field;
  • be capable of assisting in production process and budgets for different performing arts activities and events;
  • have good knowledge of music and outdoor programme design and production;
  • preferably have good understanding of local music and outdoor scene;
  • demonstrate good communication and multi-tasking skills; and
  • be proficient in written and spoken English and Chinese.

Note: Contract until 31 March 2019 (renewal is subject to further review)
