Temporary Customer Services Officer, Venue Operations (Part-time) (Ref:16210a)

West Kowloon Cultural District (WKCD) currently presents an active programme of performances, talks, festivals and community engagement projects on site and around Hong Kong. Venue Operations team provides guest services support to Performing Arts events organized by WKCD.  The major events include Freespace Happening, Tea House Theatre Taster, Rising Stars of Cantonese Opera and Producers’ Network Meeting & Forum, etc.  For more information about Performing Arts, please visit: http://www.westkowloon.hk/en/performing-arts/about-performing-arts.

You will be responsible for:

  • delivering outstanding guest services and being familiar with event logistic support and information; and
  • executing event operations plan which includes but not limited to:
    • preparing and assisting in booth setup;
    • greeting guests and providing good customer services;
    • handling guests’ enquiries;
    • delivering and distributing event materials;
    • managing permitted vehicle entry and guest count tracking;
    • handling ticket distribution; and
    • supporting guest flow management.


You should:

  • possess higher diploma or above; students are welcome;
  • preferably have knowledge in tourism and hospitality management;
  • have customer service related experience, preferably with event management/operations experience;
  • be able and willing to work at different locations, including outdoor environment;
  • be customer-oriented, proactive and pleasant; and
  • be proficient in written and spoken English and Cantonese, capability in Putonghua is a plus.


Note: Applicants with extensive relevant experience may be considered for more senior positions.

Applicants are required to work on weekends during March stated in the following programme schedules, plus other upcoming programmes. Actual work schedule will be subject to operational needs of events.
